Interesting that the 718 GT4 beat the 991.1 GT3.

The answer to your question.... Porsche is not a value proposition.

Interesting that the 2017 Ford GT has two times with that kind of gap...

The 992 GT3 (with its optional cheater R tires) will move up the list considerably next year...

And same tires... the N-rated tires have improved since the .1

Chevy takes the cheap way to performance...Gigantic tires with monstrous wide tracks and LOTS of H.P. It results in crazy single lap times at modest prices but not exactly the overall intelligent performance you get with a GT Porsche.

Dunno, the dampers on the camaros starting with the z-28 are pretty special, they have some real suspension in those things not to mention real HP, to the point that the Corvette division had to seriously step up their game, so we are seeing the results of GM's internal battle here on the list with some fast cars...now ford is stepping up as well. Longer term quality on those cars however is the real question. Can't fault them for truly beating a lot of great cars performance wise. Those cars can turn now...for us car folk however, it is all good! Caddie CT5 blackwing has my serious attention. On the list for when the 992 GT3 allocation doesn't happen.

2.42 for the Turbo S is seriously impressive. With comparable tires it would be faster than the 991.2 GT3 RS

I agree with everything you said there...But having owned a C7 Z06, well maybe I'm just a Porsche snob or unfair judging against the GT2 but they are just very different cars.

Weren't both run as delivered on Cup 2? I would think the 2021 Cup2's would be faster then the 2018 Cup2's? Regardless both cars are monsters, but 5 seconds is a big gap for tires

The Turbo S was only on Pirelli P Zero PZ4 street tires
