Default P1Designs Seat Inserts for LWB?

Hi Gents, I am considering the P1Designs red alcantara LWB seat inserts to replace my black inserts. If anyone has purchased them would you care to share your feedback please? Also please specify if you purchased the memory foam option or the standard OEM "like" cushioning...Thanx

I did the standard foam and pasha pattern. Kim was great to work with providing samples and quick turnaround time. P1 sets a high standard in quality and service. No regrets.

I did P1s black alcantara inserts with memory foam. Noticeably more comfortable than stock. Alcantara is a dead match with the other alcantara in the car. It comes in a quality storage bag so you can store your stock inserts. Kim is great to work with. If not certain which you want, she will send you some swatches of options you like. Zero regrets.

I have the P1 memory foam inserts In my 997 gt2 seats and they are fantastic. I went even a bit thicker then standard for the bottom portion. Super comfy.

I have the Sport-tex with memory foam from P1. They are amazing! From their customer service to the craftsmanship, excellent company!

Main reason was I wanted to tone down the interior of the car to allow the green stitching and CXX painted bits to pop a little more. I honestly wanted something like the Sport Tex fabric with a black background and a green fleck running through it but nothing like that existed, so I went with the black alcantara. Additionally, I wear jeans frequently and did not want the dye in the denim fading onto/into the green colored stock alcantara. It’s a PITA to try and remove if it happens. The black would hide this easily if indeed the dye did fade into the alcantara.

Also went from green to black alcantara with P1. seat is more comfy. Went to black because the green was starting to mark after 12,000 miles.

Both looks great. Being I have gt silver stitching and car, i am trying to add some green, my favorite color. Thinking of doing mostly black on the seat and adding a couple strips of green like the stock that has a grey strip. I think all green is a bit much.

I purchased the houndstooth color and the memory foam for my 3RS. Worth every penny in my opinion and the memory foam is so much more comfortable than stock. Drove from Orlando to Sarasota, about a 2 1/2 hour and no issues. Highly recommended and working Kim was a breeze.

I’ve had two pairs. Kim was great. No memory foam in either. Meaning to sell the grey ones that I had in my previous chalk car.

do you have any closer picks of the grey set. Might be interested in them if you are selling.

I haven’t gotten around to taking pictures yet which is why I haven’t listed them yet. I can take some and send to you if you’re interested. Maybe taking the pictures will get me to take the time to finally list them in the Marketplace. The pattern is Thompson Grey and you can see it on the P1 website in a couple photos.

they are f**king awesome!

I got the memory foam + lumbar for my 991.2 GT3 ... I was experiencing a lot of discomfort on long drives in the GT3 ... the LWBS bolsters were killing my hips ...

the P1's are OEM quality and SUPER comfortable - the memory foam raised the cushion about 1" or so and has transformed my experience in the car and the seats!
