Very classic spec, love the aluminum trim. If you like black it’s a perfect car if you’re in the market

Thanks for the info rjongco. I think I missed some of the posts regarding this car. Is this the chalk GT3T that was at (Joe's) Exotic Motorsports in Oklahoma dealership that they had priced for $165k? And then they eventually sold it for $190k when they realized what they had?

I've been curious about the number of these cars being listed by small, independent used-car dealers. As most of these cars are very desirable, why are they not ending up in the inventories of Porsche dealers? I'm sure many of these small, independent used-car shops are reputable, but some are not. We have some independent dealers here on Long Island that are well-established, that I would be very confident buying from (Collector Car Showcase in Oyster Bay and Autosport Designs in Huntington come to mind), but there are other dealers that are fly-by-night operations that literally change ownership every 6 months. How does a low-mileage GT3RS or GT3 Touring end up at a place that might not be so legitimate? Does the first owner have no qualms selling to a potentially shady operation, or has the car already changed hands multiple times at that point? And how confident are buyers in selecting a car that's had multiple owners, and now is being offered by a used-car lot? Thank goodness for Carfax and PPI. Is it just that the demand is so high for these cars right now that most people are willing to risk buying from a relatively small establishment that may not have a long-term record of good business practices?

If I were opening a used car boutique, I'd definitely overpay for a Touring or GT3 RS to have in inventory, because the only way to legitimize yourself is to have a track record, so high demand cars is a place you can overpay, but not worry about taking a bath. Sell the car flat to cost, and maybe get financing fees and leave it on your website for 2 weeks after it sells, and that was cheap marketing cost, with money to be made down the road in less defined market value cars.
I've bought one car in my life from a "boutique" and did so because the car was exactly what I wanted, less than 10 made of similar specs (so didn't want to wait for different car to maybe one day show up) , got a PPI, and negotiated a price that left room to budget for any unknown the PPI missed.

I'm looking for a GT3 6spd if anybody is thinking of selling. relatively easy in terms of colors and options.
In the Bay Area but don't mind buying remotely.
Open to almost any color apart from blacks, yellows and purples.
Don't mind what seats or whether it's steel disc or PCCB.
Low miles a plus and records a must. Axle lift is also a must because of my driveway.
Cash buyer. PM and I'll get right back with better contact.
I deal car would be Chalk, White or GT silver with a leather interior.

Black Touring with 4400 miles. PCCB, buckets, FAL, and leather. $168k original MSRP. Asking price is $193k. This one probably won’t last too long.

Hey guys, was looking for the longest time for a 997 GT3 - couldn’t find what I wanted in right color, condition, mileage etc. But lucked across a great, local NYC RLer selling his stunning 991.1 GT3 in PTS ice blue. Insane track mods too. As far as PCNA can tell, only 1 991.1 and 1 991.2 GT3 were ever made in this color. Super excited!

Haven’t been part of this forum before but excited to be part of this group going forward. (And yes, still looking for that 997 GT3...)
