Yes I know it was only an option on the GT3. I am not the one paying these prices. There must be something about cars with that option that has caused the prices to increase. They seem to be selling for quite a bit more than cars with wings. I really don’t care one way or the other just making the observation. Supply and demand as they say.
Come to think about it, the L-88 motor was only an option on the ‘67 Corvette.

Who cares if it was/is just an "option?" It was a FANTASTIC option and for those who selected it and have since sold their car (especially of late), they made a tidy profit (compared to the winged variant) for said "option." And for those who are actually driving and keeping the car, we have an incredible sports car without a giant wing on the rear. #perfection

Bro, relax I like the car .....you guys get it, many think it’s a separate model. Let’s all have this conversation next year when the 992’s come out. You see these cars being sold they’re not being driven, and many being sold it was “my forever car” will die with the keys in hand. I see cars as fun, and no attachments. Gee wiz I’m not talking about your wife it’s a car if goes up great .......some will buy at the top of the curve and wonder what happen when it normalizes.

This is the stuff that makes rennlist laughable tbh. If they did not make many of them, there was a reason for that....They are in the business to make money.

They make as many as they think the market needs. The stimmys pumping the market with a lot of extra dollars mean a lot of business owners made a lot of extra money. This has raised the price of literally all luxury goods, boats, rolxes, porsches, ferraris, collectibles, pokemon cards.....

If you are worried about money, right now is a VERY GOOD time to sell. Your welcome for the only sound advice on these dumb value threads
agreed.

its on every forum. Remind me of the guys with F80 M3s that think their car is rare/special because they ordered a sunroof with their competition package / manual car... while everyone else ordered the lighter carbon fiber roof. some people just want something others can't easily have.

The L88 motor was only an option on the ‘67 Corvette, if you don’t know what it’s worth now look it up. Your logic doesn’t make sense.

Good point, let's compare 1960's muscle cars to today's german sports cars.

A Gt3 with a wing makes 20 more hp at speed according to AP because of the ram air.

If you checked the touring option you actually got a less powerful car.....Last I checked the less powerful engines did not exactly go for a premium in the 1960's

That would be funny if you knew what you were talking about. I was pointing out that sometimes the right option makes all the difference.

Not baited, you just don’t make sense. If you took the time to read my posts I never said the Touring optioned cars were worth more than the winged cars. I only commented on what’s happening at this time. A lot of cars values have increased now. You were the one who said it’s only an option and gave irrelevant examples to justify your statement. Now we can get back to the topic of this thread.
