Roughly 200+/- 2019 GT3 Tourings came to the US. If and when they go up for sale they will be selling for a premium.

think it's more that people don't see the point of listing their car when they feel there aren't many buyers out there. same thing is happening with real estate in Toronto. Listings are down 70%, prices are steady because supply has dropped off so hard.

someone put a thread up on how many manual, pdk, touring came to the states. i would guess, the majority, of the used listings, have sold, Pricies came down somewhat over the winter, so I am guessing you will see a surge of people who cannot afford to keep them or need to make room by end of summer.

I think you can afford to be patient. As someone trying to sell one (winged pdk) I can tell you the market is soft. The 991.2 Gt3 is an incredible car and should be a good buy vs. the 992 which will only offer incremental improvements.

I believe winged PDK is softest of the bunch. Manuals, both winged and touring, are selling well during this time, surprisingly.

PDK cars are available and very good value. I think a lot of those owners upgraded to RS? I think that is the reason PDK is trading below manuals, people want to upgrade to RS and 991.2 RS are well below sticker. I don’t know. Winged Gt3 manual in good spec are available and the sweet spot in my view (especially with PTS), have to look harder and pay more than PDK, but they are out there. Tourings, especially PTS tourings, good luck with that. I have people ping me looking for one (because of the pts touring registry I put together and I am ptstouring on insta) and basically all of them I see, when I see any, are very expensive. And there are only 156 PTS tourings in the US (I probably know of half the owners and have found 145 of them). The touring owners I know (and I know a lot) don’t want to sell. I don’t blame them, but if I were buying now I’d find a winged manual and save myself a bunch of money. I would not concern myself 18 v 19 as they are identical and, as rare as 19s are, I don’t think it will make much difference long term (unlike 991.1 Gt3 where 16 had the better engine).

According to the sticky thread production numbers, only 713 GT3 Tourings came to the US. 62% with sport buckets, 84% with axle lift. So very few cars out there that fit your spec requirements.

Those of us with one either received an allocation or paid a huge allocation fee (me) to get our hands on one. Outside of not wanting to sell it for all the known reasons, it would also be an aggressive asking price, which keeps them off the market unless someone finds themselves needing to sell.

The birch green is my car. I’m really surprised by the auction results considering a week before my auction a 991.2 GT3 with 5,000 miles sold for over sticker. That particular car is a manual whereas mine is a PDK. I’ve been offered significantly more by dealers than $146k to sell it outright. Again, really puzzled by the results. Maybe someone here can shed some light?

Maybe pdk, the uncomfortable LWBS and ultrasuede steering wheel? Great color though. And I love pepita inserts...!

991.2 GT3's have been selling well on Bring a Trailer during the pandemic. I thought yours would be bid much higher based on those previous results, but PDK? and maybe birch? Really hard to say.

a lot of cheapskates on BAT (as you can see from the comments section) and some even on rennlist (see 3pedals debacle). Good choice to hold to your guns. It's telling when dealers are offering you more than BAT.
