I know this is probably covered somewhere but I was hoping to get a straight answer from one of you GT3 guys. What is your opinion on Sport Chrono (or wort delete)? For example, on the Carrera T with MT, you don't really loose much by the deleting the wort. Is this similar to a 991.2 GT3 MT?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I had it on my GT4, which adds some functionality, but the placement on the dash always bugged me. Don't have it on the GT3, don't miss it at all.

I got it on my GT3 and never use it (other than the clock). Unlike others, I do like the way it looks. It wasn't that expensive, so glad I got it. Had it cost more, I may feel different.

I like the old school look of no wart.

I think sport chrono also includes prep for the porsche track timer if that matters (I don't think it does), otherwise it's costmetic. Personally love the clock so glad I got it.

I truly did not realize i put it on my build unitl the car came in. Its stupid, does nothing, and collects dust. I think, i had it checked when i gave my build to my dealer and did not catch it. I does do one thing, helps drain the battery

I’ve had a Sport Chrono on every 911 I’ve ever owned other than my first, a 993. It serves no purpose, but I can’t stop ordering it because if I don’t it will look like something is missing on the top of the dash. It’s absence would drive me nuts and I’m deeply bothered every time I get in a modern 911 not equipped with Sports Chrono. I will continue to order it for as long as it is available and if ever discontinued by Porsche, I will seek the help of a therapist prior to ordering a new car and will then search for a useless aftermarket knock off Sport Chrono.

I am slightly surprised more people don't mod the pod. I don't need more info but if I was tracking, I might swap the chrono gauge out for something more informative and useful.
I don't mind it but I am coming from Civics and EVOs, so I am a lost cause.

Have one. Most of the time I have no idea what it's telling me or why it changes modes. Or what those modes even mean. It doesn't offend me or look bad, but If I had it to do over, I'd save the ~$500. Ultimately, just one more thing to break 30 years from now...

I have it on 2 of my RSs and my TTS omitted it on our Cayman S and missed it So our Boxster S has it as well.
I got the Track Precision App to work the other day for that alone if it consistently worked its worth it.
Just wish the new one tilted like the older units did.
