Dealer paying that much for inventory? That’s a bit extreme!

agree the Touring is a joke compared to R, before u even turn the key it is understood it offers minimum $200K better driving experience. Touring is like a Mac truck in comparison … 50 lbs difference can be felt as soon as you pull away … door pulls alone are over the top special … many have posted Carrera T is considerably better than Touring as well because it has light weight rear and side windows and fabled past of the T … Unotaz has a great post about how quickly he dismissed the Touring and GT3’s and the magic of the R … just my opinion but I think the R’s will hit $1M US before year end

For the record, I think the 991.2 GT3T is fantastic. I would keep both if I could. For me, it comes down to how the cars fit into the entire set and the 911R works better for me at this point in time.

Yes, he definitely owns a Touring. HAHA

The jealousy [cough, cough], um..., I mean the sarcasm, just comes across as sour grapes.

all the 991 GT cars are great and they each are unique and special in there own way. Better to drive and enjoy what you have.

Agreed, they are all great cars...what is most great is up to the *** in the seat...we all have different ideas as to the perfect 911 hence 4 bazillion variations available.

That said the R is the best lol

The R will always be a 991.1 ...

When Porsche magically releases the 991.2 R it will be better than the Touring. Until then, the inferior motor of the R will always make it a miss.

Chris Harris and Bovingdon's opinion > a bunch of guys comparing these cars to watches.

I don’t understand this. Is there a time machine to go back to 991.2?

I value and enjoy input from Chris Harris and others. I am also okay with having different opinions and preferences than they do.

HAHA...Porsche would truly need to use some "magic" to release a 991.2 R in the future considering it has already moved on to the 992. Also, the R's motor is not inferior to any NA 991 motor.
