AC SATCO, I assume you may have seen the below listing, and I'm sure it may be sold by now. Just in case you did not...

https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1218698

Regardless, good luck. I'm sure you'll find one. They are wonderful cars! I bought one last April, and plan to drive it for a long, long time.

Here's a lead...contact Mark at SW Vintage in Phoenix. Believe he was planning to get consignment deal on a silver with green stripe car back in September...never saw it transact, but might have happened without any public knowledge.

Thanks guys on 964 RS. I don't care about lack of comfort, though I'm relatively big, call it 6'2" and 225 lbs, so comment on seat tightness concerning, as I love the tricolor Recaro look and would hate to swap. Wouldn't sell my other cars, so practicality not a huge concern...just want it to be engaging enough to want to give it regular exercise.

I get it. I have one in mine, and would want it as an option too. I find myself turning it on, but can't really hear it. I've put almost 1000 miles on the car since April, and It's not a quiet car inside the cabin at 3K+ RPM's. I certainly say that in a good way!

I'm convinced that a R without radio will be more sought after in a few years.
This is a part of the lighweight gimmicks, and this is not a car to really enjoy the music (in motion, there is too much noise and at idle, the single mass flywheel has its own beat).
This one has a real nice combination, with the practical aspect (AC, extended fuel tank and front axle lift) without the pointless luxury items (in a R; radio, cruise control by example).

Unfortunately, I think that unless the car has major provenance, and coincidentally no Radio...the future buyers are actually going to WANT that little bit of tech more than they do now, especially as this is a "modern" tech car. This is also one of the reasons Porsche created, at no small expense, the Porsche Classic Radio system, and now the full bore CarPlay Porsche Classic units which tend to sell out depending on supply pretty quickly. So if value is a concern, YES one will want the radio!

Build on white is primo but would make a lot more more sense without the dumb FAL.

I’m biased since mine is option this way.

I think A/C delete, radio delete, no FAL, bucket seats, LWFW, extended tank is the way to go.

For those looking to find one, best of luck! It’s truly a special car and way more than specs and parts.

Just wondering if anyone has looked at the current market on the 911R? Saw 2 listings, one at 599K and one at 549K. Did not see any others for sale. Don’t know how much activity there has been lately, but this is a substantial bump in the asking price from just 5 mos ago. Seasonality, supply demand, limited numbered car, any thoughts on what is driving the market?

The 911R is the last truly special car Porsche will ever make. It wasn't born out of marketing but out of purist enthusiasm and opportunity after the first gen 991 GT3 motors, not compatible with a MT, needed a redesign because they were prone to catching fire. Now that the flip dust has settled, mostly caused by PCNA 918 VIP policy to sell the Hybrid supercar, drivers who have an R will not give them up. And it will remain this way with few cars coming to market. I know people (now sorry) who sold their R, pocketed some cash and got a GT3 Touring. The Touring is a great car. But it's not a 911R. It will be interesting to see what happens if Bob Linton ever decides to market his lightweight parts. It may cost an additional 1m, but at 400 lbs. lighter, the R will not only be the greatest street 911 of all time, but one of the greatest sports cars ever.

Market on R is super strong.

Cars are selling in the 500's.

has anyone compared the 911R and Carrera T ... many say the T is better on twisty roads with better torque and same light weight parts ?
