Is there a way to have the pdk sport and sport exhaust on when starting the car ?

but why would you want pdk sport on all the time? its really a track mapping for the transmission.

 

I like to drive with the engine over 2000 rpm

I don't engage sport until oil temp is up. I personally am not a fan of 5k rpm with 60 degree oil.

 

If you are easy on the throttle the car shifts at 3500 rpm...

 

100% positive my .1 RS does not. 1-3 shift at 4500 and 4 at 5000.

 

I believe the sport exhaust is on when you first start the car, since it needs the vacuum of a running engine to close the valve. My car gives a loud bark on start up, quite exhilarating, before settling down. As to PDK Sport Mode fore street driving, yeah, just use it on manual.

funny, I was told the exact opposite. I picked my 3RS up at PECLA last year and the master mechanics there told me as well as my group not to let the car warm up at idle for very long. Warm it up by driving, not sitting. as for brakes mine are ceramic so maybe that doesn’t apply. The thing that is really important are warming up the tires.

 

You warm up the oil by driving it, don't warm it by idling. Once the oil temp (not the water) is up to temp you can get on it. The car will limit rpm's when cold and lights a blue icon on the dash.
