i remember the first time I saw the car in person. There was one roped off at a local dealer. It was sold of course, at that time these were all accounted for and selling for 10-20k over MSRP. I was in awe. Just struck me how well it all came together. The salesman asked me why I wanted this car when I had a new Huracan. I asked him how long he worked at the dealer and for Porsche...he said a couple months. No more questions...thanks for your time.

I think it is great there is a strong passion for manual gearboxes even in newer models. I grew up racing motorcycles and cars. My desire was to be as quick as i could be, and in many instances I was able to extract the best time in a manual car. Bikes obviously have not changed from a shifting standpoint. I found as I progressed professionally and was able to afford different cars that I did not carry over any fondness for shifting just for the sake of shifting as part of the experience. I do not say that to slight the experience of shifting, but many cars evolved away from it and did not think twice about it. Nonetheless, glad Porsche brought it back and it appears that will continue.

Manuals are fun but they can’t keep up with the sophistication of the rest of the car in the case of the gt3RS...
i enjoy a manual gearshift experience, love my gated R8, but the PDK-s in the RS feels more like a sequential gearbox in a race car and fits perfectly with the rest of the car ...

I agree PDK suits the RS perfectly. It is an amazing transmission. However for me personally I get much more enjoyment driving a manual. That’s why I sold my 19 RS and got a Touring. I look forward to going for drives in a way I didn’t feel with my RS. Everyone has different opinions and that’s okay. Good thing you can choose. There is no right or wrong. Enjoy what you like and be grateful you are able to drive one of the best cars ever made (in my humble opinion).

I say get both! ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I have manual cars to scratch that itch, but I also love the PDK in my RS. Now that I have the Dundon package I get some pretty awesome cracks/pops on upshifts that I don’t think you’d get in a manual.

Not sure if you can in Switzerland, but a light tint on those windows would be outstanding!!
