I think the GT3 has a better chance just because of the gearbox. PDK will continue to improve through the generations whereas the development of the manual gearbox is probably at it's zenith.

Highly doubt it. I don’t see any unique trait that the 991 generation will have over the 992 generation that will make it collectible in the long run.

Depending on what the 992 brings, the 2019 ROW-spec RS with the Speedster's ITBs has all of the makings of a classic. Not that we can get one here for 25 years...
