Last low production steel key manual RS prior to the 2012 VW-Porsche integrated auto group.

So...my key matches my car color. Show me a 997RS that can do that! Ha!

I know some people got keys that matches their paint color. I've got one also.

But my OTHER key matches my deviated stitching!

Fat chance, soooooo many were produced and there are tons sitting in dealers' lots
Car itself is very special but unlikely classic anytime soon, they cranked out too many

We got what everyone wanted a car, and reduction in ADM’s except for those early adopters. Now people want classic, just drive and don’t worry about what’s a classic. It’s a car that will depreciate as designed because new stuff always is better.

None of the 991 gen cars will be future classics imo. Maybe 997 GT3 RS but not even sure about that.

Excluding Carrera GT and 918... my vote for the highly desirable and coveted future classic (for the water-cooled GT# cars) is the 7.2 4.0 RS

Most of them are just garage queens nowadays.... low miles and hardly driven.

Or preserved & ready to **** by the next owner...

Wouldnt say screwed, and look at the enjoyment you had on your choice. MSRP always goes two ways. We all love under, but not happy on the over. Economic factors drives the swings and 2020 will be another cup of tea on car sales. Cash is king in 2020 you can buy lots of things on the cheap just watch. Enjoy your ride and don’t look back.

991 GT cars are very different to the 992 cars and are the end of the analogue cars. Just look at the nub as a gear selector and the new gauge set up in the 992. 991 GT cars are already classic cars in my book.

Takes alot more than having a bigger automatic gear selector and 2 extra analogue screens to be a classic. I see no reason for the 991 generation to become classic. The 992 looks like it's going to be everything the 991 generation is but just improved. GT cars are still going to be NA, manual trans still going to be produced, etc.
