i rarely use mine. but its nice to have in some situations. and it helps in resale. the weight is pretty negligible and probably helps improve the weight distribution.

when i tried to sell my 458 it didn't have the lifter and that turned off alot of buyers.

14 GT3 70K miles, no FAL. Sure it scrapes sometimes, but never a real issue. I would order a new GT3 with no FAL.

I've owned/own every GT3/RS/2RS (exc. '11 4.0) since 2004 and never ordered front lift nor ever replaced a front splitter. Some scrapes but nothing worth replacing w/ new.

There is no negative to having FAL, and nothing but positives for having it. Silly to argue otherwise IMO.

Having FAL makes using the car much easier. I use it all the time especially when getting into my driveway. Could I get away without it? Sure, but since it is available I prefer having it.

It’s not very obvious but my GT3 lip is a lot lower than my 997. I have FAL and it helps me a lot.
