Gt3 Touring vs 430 Speciale vs 997.2 gt3 rs
#46
This video sums up the difference between scuderia and rs pretty accurately:
I have a scuderia and recently sold a 997.2 gt3 to buy a gt3 touring. Scud and rs would both be more "raw" than your touring. I went through the calculations of 997.2 rs vs 991.1 rs vs gt3t, and went with the touring, and I'm happy with my choice. The scud is a more exciting drive to me, and is my favorite car. It has more torque, more sound, and feels lighter. The 997.2 rs feels more planted, and a more solid feel. The shift lever and clutch will feel a lot different than either of your 911's. I would say that both are equally "raw," but they drive very differently.
Try and test drive both, and it will give you a good idea or what they're like.

There is a post on FerrariChat about the failure of the SuperFast 2 Transmission actuator in the Scuderia, total cost for repair was over $28k
Then again, 60ms shift times on a single shaft transmission is an impressive amount of violent force to put down - we loved owning the 16M
PS - Ferrari is known for not supporting cars with parts supply past 10 years old and the Scud is coming upon that. What will you do when parts are not available from Ferrari?

They aren’t in the same league. I drove a 997.2gt3rs and a scuderia when I was shopping. Gt3rs is an amazing built machine just like 991.1gt3 all the way to 991.2 gt3rs, they’re all on similar spectrum imo
ferrari Scud in an actual racecar that zaps ur adrenal glands like ur bungie jumping, you’ll never get that feeling in any porsche I’ve ever driven.... to make the porsche people feel better i will tell u that Ferrari’s are built way worse.
but u pay for it as ferraris have a lot go wrong, but imo soul in a car is everything in fun and special-ness NOT practicality. You could make 10000000 gt3’s or rs’s and people COULD drive them. The scud is so intense most just wouldn’t drive it. It’s an event and very over dramatic
