I’m in California.
car is 2018 991.2 GT3.
that was my initial thought as well. Funny as there are a lot of wires but only two hooked up.
its just kinda funny how it’s next to battery completely unsecured.

Wow these are spreading. It's a tracking device called kahu. Our dealer has been installing these on inventory and loaner cars since the beginning of the year. We've had quiet a few cars come back with battery draw issues caused by them. Atleast the techs were smart enough to install it across the battery rather than hack up the harness like the sales reps tried to have our shop do it.
