That's not entirely true. I live in Seaside and my business is on Cannery Row and I'd say there was actually more space on Cannery Row they just chose to not use all of it. They really only used half of it. In any event, they should move the entire circus to Fort Ord in the old motorcade area where there is a ton of open space and flat roads. Hell, they could even put a skidpad and let any of the idiots doing donuts do them there legally in a "controlled" environment. There are plenty of options but I'm not sure if EOC and now EOB would want to do something like that?
Just my thoughts....
I meant parking for spectators. Way less tourism there than downtown. Lets be realistic though. I’m a local as well and Fort Ord won’t be anywhere near ready (with the great plan) for another 5+ easy. Cannery was very quiet for a Saturday. I walked around from 6-1130 and it was quiet compared to years past. It is a circus, but the revenue for the county is insane. Heck, they had meter maids out to 11pm. 11pm!!!!!
We should meet up though. Would enjoy another enthusiast to kick it with.
I heard the same thing by others. Hate to see a great show get ruined by a small group of idiots.
I was playing golf yesterday late afternoon at Poppy Hills and some tards were leaving Pebble in their supercars just revving the crap out of their cars over and over and over again, rolling and revving, and it was echoing for miles. Total tards and incredibly disrepectful to the residents there. This is why we can't have nice things...
It’s amazing how tech trickles down in all forms for just about everything. Price dependent of course. 3D isn’t super old technology and has tremendous potential long term as you allude. The next 20yrs will be great I’m sure!
a lot of techy people here for sure. Met some folks regarding the new Di Tomaso. Most cars these days are driven by computer aids. Makes sense. Only so much can had outside of a combustion engine. Most are concerned with aero and safety.

Was there- to me by far the best part of the weekend was Quail. The cars were amazing as was the atmosphere. Saw the Bugatti unveiling, the Lambo 63 (or whatever the hell they call this supposed limited edition) and many others. Saw the porsche speedster - sorry- totally unimpressed. 274k for a GT3 with no roof. It was an underwhelming car to me. The Jesko stole the show IMHO. Just an unreal piece of machinery! Bentley stepped up their game and their new redesign is quite nice.
Overall a memorable event and one Ill do again. The actual concourse on Sunday was not my thing with the prewar cars but a fun event nonetheless.
Amazing as always... had a chance to meet quite a few from Rennlist, thanks for dropping by our booth at Laguna.
We are set up at the Races at Laguna each year.... We will also be out there for IMSA and INDY Car if anyone is going, come by and check out our stuff and chat up Cars... We have our GT3 out there to show the INstallations of the OEM Size Lithium Batteries.
Sorry no incredible car images here.... just a product that works in those incredible cars...
We were with Porsche at the lodge and saw him walking with his lovely grand daughter. They were in one of the villas overlooking the presentation stage.
