Dealers won’t sell the part because they can’t source it from Porsche or the manufacturer.
Even Manthey produces their own aftermarket and they are 51% owned by Porsche ......
I see, makes sense now.
Guess it's time for the market to step in and replicate and bring to market. I'm confident that somebody would easily part with $10K for a lightweight Ti rollbar.
The rear legs bolts to the shock towers
The front legs, someone can fabricate a bracket similar to this but with thicker gauge plates (the one in the picture looks flimsy)
C'mon . . . when BMW refused to sell the Recaros with harness pass-thrus in the US M4 GTS (another ridiculous position by them considering the supposed intent of the car), Will Turner at Turner Motorsports stepped in and sourced a few sets. They are currently selling them on their website in fact. Where there's a will, there's a way. Someone just needs to put the time and effort in to make it happen, and if it isn't GMG, then someone else.
There is a big difference between fitting seats and roll cages.
Roll cages are structural safety items. The body in white is different between North American cars and RoW cars. Our cars don't have the reinforcements at the mounting points. So even if you can source a factory cage and mount it, the first rollover the cage will punch right through the sheet metal.
Aftermarket cage makers like GMG will reinforced the mounting points first before they mount the cage for safety reasons.
AFAIK no major aftermarket roll bar vendor ask to reinforce mounting point. They are all bolt on, Even GMG ( whose bar I am seriously considering getting).
Base on my research, the factory clubsport bar bolts to the shock tower in the rear, and on the front, it bolts to a welded plate at the same location as the Cantrell bar.

There is a company here in the US that makes an OEM-lookalike cage out of chromoly. It's about 37 lbs. if I remember correctly. Not titanium, but at least it's lighter than all the other cages out there and looks like the OEM one (kinda).
IIRC, Supreme and Agency Power have the closest to OEM, if not the actual cage.

so, if your bar uses the same mounting points at the OEM bar, then what's the difference between north american GT cars vs ROW cars? Everyone says there are extra mounting plates. This was true for the 997 model, but it seems the mount points are the same between aftermarket harness bars vs the OEM harness bars

The OE bar doesnt bolt into the car. We had to make custom brackets to allow the OE bar to mount in. After spending around $7000 we thought it would be better to make an oe inspired bar that actually bolts in for a more realistic price.

$7000, That's steep for a roll bar.
if you can make your main hoop attachment points to be similar to what Cantrell did, the legs will come straight down like the OEM bar and not bending inward. It'll be a near perfect Clubsport replica for North America cars !
