The bracket is very simple to make with a laser and CNC bending machines,(got both). Prototype parts are very quick to make and test fit. Design/engineering is critical part and takes time. Once prototype is made and fitment checked fabrication has 3 machining steps. Cut flat pattern by laser, trim the blank to final size with CNC milling machine. Bend to final shape. CNC milling is to remove the HAZ where the laser cut the part. Elimination of stress risers.

So far no one can get a Porsche rear cage into the USA...I don't think that ever happened with the 997 cars either that I remember. USA cage manufactures seem to make the bracket here though as Porsche doesn't make this bracket since ROW car already come with count points on the tub.

For the 996.2, 997.1 and 997.2, we were able to get the Porsche OEM rear cage, as well as the front members for a full cage. My U.S-spec 997RS even came with the floor mounting plates for the factory rear cage.
I would consider a well-made U.S. aftermarket rear cage if Porsche only made their Steel version for the 991, but with the WP, they made this.
Lots of Porsche Race shops have welded upper and lower reinforcement plates (sandwiched on the floor pan) with better strength that what came from the factory in the 996 and 997 to install the OEM cages, or aftermarket cages.
75 lbs is too much for a rear cage (that's what my TC Design last cage weighed).
Inconel or Titanium would provide a little extra rollover protection (compared to nothing) and the ability to run a 6-point harness. I would prefer a 30 lbs rear cage than a 15 lbs harness bar. I have witnessed 991 GT3 RS on the scales being corner weighed in excess of 3,400 lbs, my GT3RS is 400 lbs lighter, and I want to keep it light. 400 lbs costs me several seconds at my local tracks per lap.

Is the 9.0 Kg figure in the chart the weight saving of the Ti cage over steel, or is it the total weight of the Ti cage (that would be super light)?
I read somewhere the steel CS cage is ~62 lbs.
The WP Ti cage is not FIA certified, the steel CS one is. FWIW.
