Awesome car and well worth the investment in legal fees on principle alone. Glad it all worked out for you.

I'm glad it worked out for the OP, but definitely not the experience you want from enjoying your new purchase.
Shame how dealers act. Every generation, Porsche is going to make more and more GT cars, so dealers acting like they are sitting on gold-egg laying swans is ridiculous for the brand image now and will not pay off with the RL publicity.

Check the signature..

OP, glad you were made whole. That car is beautiful and I would love to have that one myself!

Your first post, I was thinking to myself...”self, why not just buy another GT...?” Now, after seeing the pics, I understand completely!!!
I’m super happy for you and actually learned a number of things to tuck away... Good on you!!! Congrats!!!

Congrats OP on sticking to your guns and accomplishing. This thread is a giant kick to the dealership's ***** (which they obviously deserve). Beautiful car man. Enjoy in good health.

Nice! Really glad this worked out and for once a customer wins. Meanwhile they are clearly planting threads elsewhere in the forum lololol

Glad it worked out in the end!

A lesson for any buyer: do not ever share that you have an out of country connection to any dealer if you’re buying a new car from them. Dealer’s are paranoid about exporters because they get fined if they sell a new car that is exported in <1 year. Asia and Middle East are especially big red flags to them.

I learned this the hard way. I’m have a citizenship in another country and reside part time out of US. Whenever I shared that information with a dealer it only led to trouble and difficulty.

Yes, the steering wheel was cxx with Riviera Blue 12 o'clock marker. A really nice but subtle addition I think. Thanks again to the RLC for all the assistance and support. Happy to say that the car is phenomenal!
