I was told some cars are affected, but mine is not showing as one that is. Who knows. Maybe those built after a certain date have the issue resolved. Mine just completed production 1.5 weeks ago.
I feel bad for you guys that are now delayed. Mine is finally back in my garage after an exciting Euro Delivery, however I'm a bit nervous to drive it now, I may come home to find my car and house in flames!
Know my previous GTS isnt the same but I had the same problem in late June 2018 whn I ordered my GTS. Came into port @ Davisville, RI and sat there till September. Was so mad. Something about emissions. But the thing I was really pissed about is that it just sat outside for 3 months in the 100 degree heat. Now w you guys w cars in RI and snow! Ugh. Hope you get them ASAP
Latest from Porsche. Confirmed my car is affected. No confirmation on whether it's an engine quality action or paint as I suspected earlier in this thread. Can't believe this... smh.
That would make sense but literally a boat full of Audi's and Porsche's will miss the delivery window already due to mechanical issue on boat. I'd imagine it's 1000 cars considering I was due 8-20 cars on that ship and my stores are small.
What's the name of the boat? How long the delay would be? Thanks.
This is a big surprise thread to come home to after spending a day at Road Atlanta with The Driving Club. Right as I started reading this thread Sean texts me asking if I have my car. It’s not at the dealer yet and it was too late to call the dealer when I got home. My car is a WP with exposed carbon, completed production 10/23 and entered port of JAX on 12/08. We will see if it is going to be delayed too.

Seth were you on the Goodwood ? If so my car is in JAX also but shows released as of yesterday. Waiting on more info today.
