As i'm on the lookout for a 488 and i'm pretty fussy on the spec..I looking for one in RC and one i've seen has the gloss black roof with the RC body..Is this a good combo or is the 488 better with matching RC roof.?.

What do you think is better? You will be driving it so which do you think looks better?
I haven't seen a black roof RC in the metal, just wondering if anyone had particular views either way.
I think you'll get lots of views on it. The usual camp prefers a monotone color. Depending on the style you are going for, it can be a nice deviation. There's a million photos on autogespot.com, especially in red with and without of course. I would trove through those for a few hours and see the different angles and appearances. Both can look quite nice.

mine had a black roof. I did t like it. I had it wrapped black and hated it so simply removed the wrap.
That's probably my preference, just needed some first hand second opinion..Many thanks.
You won't find as many as the all same color but there's a lot to look at. Surely not as many people option it because it isn't as widely desired. But then again there are a lot of red ones out there, so it is one way of distinguishing your vehicle!
