Hope this new car is more competitive. Everyone talks about the RSR, but would like to see some results from the GT3 R, which lately has not been doing so well.

Race teams that planned on racing the car will have priority buying it.

After the race teams, the leftovers can be had for individuals, like how they sold the Cup cars and the GT4CS.

Double wishbones up front is a BIG development; would love to see those in a street 911 (bye bye frunk)

The 4.2 is only dreamed up by members here. They think if aftermarket can bore the engine out to 4.2L then it must be easy for the factory to do it.

They forgot one important details, tuners don't have to warranty the car for 4 years and don't have to certified it for the whole world.

Porsche never ever considered a 4.2L capacity for their engines ever, but some people just don't seem to listen.

Thought I'd look into this to refresh my memory. Best placed 911 GT3 R this year (don't know if the car appeared anywhere else):
24H Series 2018, Dubai - P2, race
24H Series 2018, Silverstone - P3, race
24H Series 2018, Navarra - P4, race
ADAC GT Masters 2018, Oschersleben - P5 race 1, P4 race 2
ADAC GT Masters 2018, Most - P3 race 1, P4 race 2, team leading points table
Australian GT 2018, Albert Park - P5 race 1, P6 race 2, P3 race 3, P4 race 4
Australian GT 2018, The Bend - P2, race
Bathurst 12hr 2018 - P3, race
Blancpain GT Asia 2018, Sepang - P10 race 1, P12 race 2
Blancpain GT Endurance 2018, Monza - P40/P4 in class, race
IMSA 2018, Daytona - P18, race
IMSA 2018, Sebring - P6, race
IMSA 2018, Mid-Ohio - P7, race
Michelin Le Mans Cup 2018, Paul Ricard - P5, race
N24 2018 Qualifying Race, Nordschleife - P7, race
N24 2018, Nordschleife - P1, top-30 qualifying, race later today
PWC 2018, St. Petersburg - P1 race 1, P1 race 2
PWC 2018, COTA - P4 race 1, P3 race 2
PWC 2018, Long Beach - P4 race
PWC 2018, VIR - P3 race 1, P2 race 2
Super GT 2018, Okayama - P2, race
Super GT 2018, Fuji - P6, race
Super Taikyu 2018, Suzuka - P3, race
Super Taikyu 2018, SUGO - P1, race
VLN1 2018, Nordschleife - P1, race
VLN2 2018, Nordschleife - P3, race

Not doing well in all races is racing, lots of factors involved. You'd probably hear a lot more about BoP if one marque dominated every race.

100000% agree

Outgoing GT3 R is dominating early stages of Nürburgring 24, but that’s with a full court press from the factory

I have a solution! You ask and tell me!

Are you going to Le Mans this year? I will be there in Porsche VIP or whatever they call it
