Does everyone agree with me that the frothiness has largely come off the entire car market in the last 18 - 24 months?

Yes. Still can't wait for the first flipper of the GT2RS on RL. We should take a poll and give it a Vegas style over/under. The winners names go into a hat and CJ selects one name to give them a Porsche Fresno hat

Status update:

50k
40k
35k

I'm not biting until 25k and even that is generous considering the flooding of the 991.1 GT3 RS onto the market at some pretty aggressive prices now.

Could be that interest rates are going up and that there are a lot of nice cars to pick from out there.

The spec I want is $200k... if the adm is $50k or anything less that would put it as similar market price to a 991.1... The prices of mk1 are either gonna fall or the adm on mk2 is gonna go up because that doesn't make sense. I have a strong feeling production numbers will be lower so allocations won't be as available. I know guys that paid over $100k last time. Anything $50k or less sounds like a good deal to me.

Yep, fewer allocations this time around, this is the hype every time. And I mean *every* time.

P.S. The guys you know who paid $100,000 over sticker for the 991.1 RS got absolutely killed. As in destroyed.

But that assumes that all those buyers were buying at $100K ADM as an investment.

Maybe some of them bought at that price because they were indifferent to spending $100K on ADM, and they just wanted the car (1) to their exact specs and (2) they wanted it earlier than everyone else.

991.2RS is reported 25-45 on various threads then it's MUCH cheaper than .1

Yup, same old BS. There will be at least 2x allocations of cars released later on this year for the 2019 calendar year cars.

People should jump on the current RS ADM because someone paid an even worse ADM on an earlier iteration?

Just a little speculation: confirmed now 991.1 RS was 5000 WW production - NA no confirmation, but it was near the GT3 .1 numbers- say approx 1800 units. Now we have over a year to make these 2019 .2 RS for the North American market. I think we are looking at .2 RS in NA matching the .2 GT3 again, so over 2000 delivered. It will be constrained at first to drive up demand just like the .1, so prices will stabilize at some ADM value for open market cars. Same game as before- there will plenty .2, but restraints of delivery early will keep prices high though the complete model year.
