I'm getting a manual but I'm sure there will be those moments in traffic, or coming home from a late dinner, and possibly even at the track, where I will wish I would have gotten a PDK. But mine's not a daily driver and I believe the manual will provide higher highs. I also traded in a 2017 PDK GTS so I already know what the PDK is like. Wanted a change, so I guess you can say that I regretted the PDK.

As for me, no regrets. Have PDK in my .2 C4 and love it, don't fix what's not broken so I went with PDK. If I listened to others I would have gotten the 6MT as people are thinking that this could be last 6MT GT3 and the car journalists are raving about it (likely rightfully so), but I bought my car for myself to enjoy how I like, not for the next person (or as an investment)!
I remember a RLer here though who traded in his .2 GR PDK for a .2 PTS 6MT as an example of someone deciding to go for the MT after the fact

I had a hard time with this, went back and fourth.
Ended up with the Manual, currently have 750 miles on it.
Every time I go for a drive I know I made the right choice, couldn't be happier with the manual.

The manual has rev matching, no-lift shifting, launch control, etc. You don't even have to think anyway. Just like a PDK.
I kid I kid!!!!! :P
I've been a manual driver all my life, but ever since I experienced my first DCT (on a BMW M3), I decided my next car would definitely be some sort of dual clutch. In the end, I opted for a PDK GT3 and I cannot be happier. I'm sure the manual is great too and sometimes I wish I had one, but if that itch ever becomes too much, I can get a cheaper car with a manual and keep my PDK GT3.

There's not a bad choice to be made (between transmissions, not the other tranny thing), so hopefully everyone will be happy with theirs

Loving the manual (absolutely no regrets) except for those rare moments when I am in heavy traffic. However, most of my driving is before and after rush hour and I avoid the freeway whenever possible. The power shifting is a thrill and have never experienced anything quite like it. Winding the car out to 9K rpms and then doing a no-lift shift brings a huge smile to my face. Its an intense experience to say the least.
The rev match is also pretty sweet. I love the way the rpms pop while downshifting (sounds great).

Regret trading my Audi R8 V10 Gated Manual back in 2013 for a 2014 991 GT3 allocation. I will walk the plank once again when there are no longer any more Manuals
