Two main problems:
1 - it's a public road
2 - the public is stupid

Thanks for posting and good advice to all.

I stopped doing public days a few years ago and only drive on organised trackdays now. GT cars are too fast for busy public days and there aren’t enough Marshall’s either - but this is sorted on trackdays with plenty of Marshall’s and normally much less traffic.

That is a shocking reality. At speed into a blind corner there little that can be done to avoid this pile up.
As much as the guys tried to warn cars there was no real benefit.

He clearly lost traction while trying to pass. Clearly driver error.

What’s not to understand here ?

People are trying to be nice for the first few pages. GT3 RS respect.

Critiques will follow and yours is a start.

1. wasnt looking far enough ahead
2. when he saw the traffic he hesitated
3. which caused him to miss apex
4. he "lifted" in the turn

To me it was the hesitation which caused the chain of events

Yes I do.

While unfortunate, he was clearly chasing that lambo and broke too hard and spun. Yeah I do think it was driver error here.

^^ Right. All those drivers were clueless and it had nothing to do with the massive oil slick ...
Come on!!

Especially when you expect a tourist to give up the inside corner that they already lost. SAD!
