I wonder why this is. You can get center lock hubs on a GTS. Can't you put GTS hubs on a GT3? Isn't that how the 997 conversion works?
I think you can use the 5 lug hubs from the GT4 on the GT3.

I don't even have a car yet and I've already got most of the tools. All that's left is something to hold the brake without damaging the seat. Until I have something for that, I'll need a helper.

If this were possible, wouldn't someone have pieced together a kit to sell by now?

ToolTopia website......brake pedal depressor. Start engine, depress brake pedal to floor, insert depressor, turn off engine, exit car, work on center locks. OH, and complete "kit" leaves little room for luggage in frunk.

Yeah. I know they're out there. I just haven't bought one yet.

I don't intend to carry the tools around with me. I swap tires left to right between track days so I only need them at home. No need for me to take wheels off at the track.

Sure. Sometime in the summer. There HAS to already be one out there though. I'm betting someone will post a link before I get to do this.

It's a shame that Porsche can't / won't.design these better. Love the look but hate these wheels. Aren't Cemterlocks supposed to be easier and faster?

I am no fan of the center-locks, but it's not Quite as bad as I feared (have pulled all the wheels and replaced successfully). Was not a fast process though...

I think I go through 6-8 sets of rubber gloves in an attempt to minimize where all I get the grease...because I am in the camp which re-greases for each install. PCA had us doing centerlock inspections each morning, loosen, tighten to spec before going out on track.

I have it down to about 15 min, 12 min if I really want grease everywhere and look like the silver surfer.

from the time u stated and the # of gloves you used, you are doing it correctly.
now 15 min does that include cleaning off the goop you got all over the CL nut?
