This is the 911R picture that changed me to chalk at the end on the slight hope it was close enough to fashion grey. Im not keen on doing more R stripes but the owners build on this one does look amazing.

Though I'm sure they'll all look great, this touring (black/chrome, color, wheels) conundrum is not easy. Can't wait to see pics of various color combos appearing here. One positive aspect of the classic-look chrome touring trim will be that it will be immediately and unmistakeably recognizable as nothng but GT3 Touring.

How would Lava Orange (or a PTS orange) look with chrome touring and silver wheels? 70's 911 skittle look maybe?

You can wash black cars as much as you desire, and you won’t induce swirls. A grit guard bucket is essential.

im heading there too. Started with black went to gt silver and seeing gt silver gts right next to a chalk gts the gt silver didn’t wow me. The chalk did which I didn’t expect.

I kept trying to like gbm but I’ve seen it several times now and it’s not my thing. I think lava orange would be awesome but i just don’t have the ***** to do it and have a $175k mistake...

Buckets. Now that I've had them, I'd never buy another Porsche without them.

I think that's a great call. I missed out on an allocation but would have speced buckets as well. Black is a great color and with yellow PCCB's you will have a great long term keeper.

Sorry gents I added the poll but then realised there was already a thread with the colour splits for the USA at least.. https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...-stats-18.html

But in any case, poll includes the ROW members as well out of interest.

Hmm, looks like a lighting trick from the showroom based on the brake discs also being the same shade.

Cutting the wing off a GT3 is blasphemous to me. But, boy, these pictures are convincing me otherwise. Would love to see more photos!

Being able to order a Touring and ordering a Wingy seems like blasphemy to me.

Those wheels look satin aluminum to me...

adding the poll poll was a great idea! Chalk isn’t as high as the numbers in the other thread would suggest
