Question about your exsperience with the 4s tires. I use mine 100% street. How much difference is there in driving enjoyment on the street? Mine came with Dunlpos and will be changing soon.

Why would you use track mats instead of Porsche carpeted floor mats.

+1 track mats. Didn’t want to scuff up my carbon fiber mats, which feel heavier. Go figure.

The weight of mats will not affect your car. In fact, it is virtually impossible that you would feel the difference of 100 pounds of static weight.

I don’t think anyone is buying mats to save weight. I was surprised when holding each mat in my hand that the carbons “feel” heavier, that’s all. I bought for protection and to get beat up. They are throwaway mats.

Pilot Sport 4S are an incredible street tire. World's more grip in anything remotely wet or under 45 degrees F than the SC2 (no experience with Dunlops). They definitely have a slightly more "numb" steering feel than with the SC2, but I would say on the street they actually perform/grip better in most circumstances as they're ideal operating temperature is much lower than the SC2. So right off the bat on a backroad they will grip up better than the SC2, and be easier to manage/feel out. They're awesome on track too, but you have to limit your session time to avoid chunking them. Also worth noting they run a bit more narrow than the SC2's.

Have to make sure you get Porsche N spec 4S tires. Any normal non-N spec 305 tire will not fit on the back 12in wheels.

For street use the 4S N is the best tire around, also for a track day works perfect. With more track focus the Cup2 are more precise, last longer, more grip. So would not wait to change to the 4S, best tire for a Touring.
