Agree. The Gold wheels are unique looking and I think they will go well with the PCCBs. As soon as I take delivery I will post pictures. Of the two images you posted I still prefer the Gold.....just not a fan of black wheels, though, many are.

I know its only personal opinion but I have now seen two LG RS with Gold wheels and IMHO it does not work at all. It just clashes with the green and makes that car look out of balance. Whereas the gold wheels look fantastic with Red, Black, GBM and even White. Black or platinum wheels suit LG much better.

Just completed my second track day with m .2 3 RS at Spa. This is a great car. You can really feel the wing through Eau Rouge and Blanchimont. There were a heap of GT3.2s (lost count) but only one other .2 RS. It was yellow with WP and looked fabulous. One of the best colours for the .2 RS IMHO.
The track was booked the previous two days by Porsche who had a bunch of GT2 RS there. I got to speak to a few of the Porsche instructors who all said the the car is very temperamental to drive and will bite you on the **** so much easier than the 3RS will. They said you have to be very, very smooth with your inputs and open corners up much more than you would have to in 3 RS. The backend doesn't like quick corrections and will snap out whereas the 3RS is far more forgiving to mid corner corrections. The instructors put this down to the RWS and the back end wanting to follow the front end far too quickly and suggested the car would be more manageable with a different setup in the rear.

Chris, thanks for the feedback on the .2GT3RS. As always, very informative. FWIW, I also agree with your opinion that gold wheels just don't go with LG. To the eye they clash and detract from the beauty of the Lizard Green.

What I think is more unique to the RS than the gold wheels, are the 'Black with Green Stripe' wheels, that also include the Lizard Green RS Center Cap inserts! FTW!
And here's my .2 GT3 with Gold Wheels:
Best Regards,
Dave

If we lighten up the ship it may quicken its pace……..brings a skit to mind from the movie “American Werewolf in London". It was a scene that took place in a British pub called the "Slaughtered Lamb". This British gentlemen was telling a joke about an airplane that was losing altitude because it was to heavy so they went about chucking out all the seats, baggage but the plane was still to heavy. On board was a Frenchmen, a British subject, an American from Texas and a Mexican. Seeing the plane is still losing altitude the Frenchmen steps up to the door and jumps out exclaiming Viva La France, but the plane was still to heavy….then the British subject jumps out shouting long live the Queen but the plane was still to heavy then finally the American from Texas chucks out the Mexican and exclaims remember the Alamo.
So maybe we should chuck out a few of the other cars and shout long live GT cars…..it may get the ship to the US a little quicker.

Bronze, metallic beige who knows but I will soon have Aurum for my Harem. The reason I choose Aurum wheels is very simple...........I like them. If we all had the same taste things would get pretty boring.
Having said that, enjoy however you configured your 3RS since when it comes down to it, that's all that matters.
