Crazy world - you appear to be getting your car from Stead in Walnut Creek which is 15 mins up the road from me yet you live in Houston (it appears) and I'm getting mine from an East Coast dealer?!?!?! But I guess at the end of the day if you can get one anywhere that's all that counts!!

Ducati1199 Ill send you a message when the car arrives and maybe you can post some pictures of the car for me, if you do not mind ! I plan on having the car shipped down to Houston after the dealership does a PPI.
As I get down to Houston a lot I can also run the car down for you. Dealer's lot, launch control and by the time I get there full break in will have been completed. I can assure you those rings will not leak by any oil!!!!!

I just got an update, my car enters production in the AM but with the August break not to be completed until first week of Sept. Will not have carbon exposed hood, to be shipped in November to US, get to keep both. No mention of carbon steering wheel so I assume that supplies are back in stock or will be over the next month. Still no word on when or if Mag wheels will be available

I was told the same thing. Mine has WP and it's confirmed. I was gonna make a change and my SA said that would be a risky move as they have indicated that no WP going forward until further notice. He was concerned that if we made a change they would cancel the WP so I left it alone.

This exact thing happened to a friend who has an order at the same dealership I do. He dropped his WP when he thought he was getting PTS. Then they said not PTS, so he tried to add the WP back in and they said no. We are both November builds delivering in January. I have a confirmed WP MB car coming and my dealer also said no more changes if you want to keep WP. I was sick of playing with the configurator anyway.
