My local dealer has this for sale. MSRP is around $181k. They are a MSRP dealer but will get every penny they can from a pre-owned car!

I agree. I’ve got the bug to upgrade to a manual .2 GT3 from my 2016 C4S but I feel like flippers are really taking advantage. I’m almost ready to throw in the towel. Is it too much to ask for just 15-20k over?
I find myself configuring a Carrera T with carbon buckets and PCCB as a point of consideration. Also looking at used .1 GT3 but... neither of these is what I really want...

Just inquired via e-mail regarding the build month and delivery time frame.
Just heard back........they already sold the slot! It was an October build slot so probably would not deliver the car until January time frame......very interesting.

Speculators have gone amateur, with Private Parties pre-selling their alreadyspec'ed GT3s at a Premium before it is even built

Not familiar with the timing of VIN's,... so newbie question here,... but how did they get VIN # WP0AC2A93JS175031 ahead of it being built? Dec 2018???
... & this "Studio City CA" seller is already predicting 550 miles when they sell in December?
Did he have a friend with a Chaulk M/T to take those pics?
Isn't this the exact thing that Andreas Preuninger has written about ("Porsche is not a hedge fund"), whereby they are capturing names of private parties who immediately sell for gain?
signed,
Confused.

... not wanting to open a can-o-worms,... but I would have loved to buy a new GT3,.. but cannot even get close to being at the top of a allocation list (& I've owned 911's all my life)

There is a GT3T at Porsche of Fairfield. Asking MSRP plus the cost of one of their protective packages, about 12-13K.
MSRP is 166K. No affiliation. Just got an email from the dealer.
Good luck guys.

Full Paint Protection (Expel), for the whole car runs about $4K to $5K depending on installer, so at 12K, ADM is $7K. If ceramic coating typically it is $1K to $1.2K.

Another plastic dash. Wonderful a $200k car and you skimp on the leather interior. What are people thinking when building this cars.
