I am not sure that is typical. This is worse. "place a bid" WTF is that. Ok that is a new low. At least these others just put down a number, albeit ridiculous, but at least if you have to have it you know the number. I wouldn't buy a valve stem cap from a dealer with that type of practice.

So it is interesting. I spoke to the GM (fairly new) for quite sometime a few weeks ago. Cool cat from across the pons. Also is big into racing himself and following racing. There strategy is interesting. I do know for a fact if you are close to being a local that they will deal. They are really trying to keep their GT cars in their area and get them to folks that will keep them for a bit. They got burned on a few douchebags that they gave deals at MSRP and literally flipped them the next day. If you show your face, walk in and sit down and talk to the GM and he is comfortable with you, they will deal. You will get NO WHERE by calling them. Walk in, walk into the GM's office and talk to him.

I see the 2019 GT2RS and 2019 GT3 configuators are coming online. Canada and Australia so far that I've seen. No major differences I can see other than they have reorganized the option headers. No mag wheels option on the GT2.
They must be building more than a few if they are updating the websites.

If you start a new build from scratch you'll see 2019 in the website address header. If you go to the US page you still see 2018. You have to start a completely new build though for this to show properly.

Somebody stated this before though, that a few would be coming in CA to balance out US. Will be curious if US gets updated to 2019 beyond the few PTS ones that have been released.

I think what Loess is suggesting is that they will build more cars in 2019 beyond what I mention above.
