I have thought about the MSRP only verses the +ADM group and now being around the Porsche forums for several months I remember one poster saying people are complaining about paying an ADM but I never hear them complain about pricing below MSRP. Case in point, I saved 7K under MSRP on a buildable allocation for my 718 but I didn’t protest. Then over the past 30 years I always managed to pay quite a bit below MSRP (non-Porsches) and saved more than double the ADM I paid for the 3RS. So now I enter the world of the Porsche brand and paid an ADM but didn’t have to go through several purchases’ or several GT cars to get to the 3RS. Hmmmmmmmmm………the more I think about it, if a reasonable deal presents itself for a 2RS I may sidestep the 3RS entirely. Though, "a man's got to know his limitations", that is, how fast does one need to go to get to Starbucks.

Some dealers have been holding auctions to sell buildable allocation.

For the 2RS or 3RS? Any idea how the bidding is going?

Default I’ll track it! I promise!

Someone hook me up with low spec, silver manual with buckets for MSRP. Promise I’ll track it!

Local dealer only sells for MSRP. Unfortunately that means every VIP takes one and tries to flip it. None left for the poor folk! Super frustrating, but free market rules!

Okay, but are you willing to wear one of the ankle monitoring devices so we can have independent verification?

@V-Vo/t or your alias? a=v-vo/t-to......here is a website where we can all find discounted not only Porsches but Ferraris', in fact all well below MSRP*. No need to thank me.

The relevance of the "alias" is there is no solution........at least not for me.

I guess I'm one of the few then, in 2008, in line at my local Nissan dealer for 2009 GTR, they want 30 ADM, I walk and got MSRP in Miami, markup frenzy that those few years when GTR first introduce. 5 years later, traded in for 2014 50th Anniversary edition 911 msrp. Between that, in 2011, got lucky and got a BMW 1M coupe at MSRP. 1M was also a big problem when launch. Now I'm waiting for my GT3, also msrp, arriving in August.
My dealers ran out of RS's , all taken by VIP, was told Porsche sent them the VIP Client that live down here in Florida. I believe they only got 3-4 allocation all to Vip client.

Your dealer should blackball all of the customers that it sells GT cars for MSRP where they know that those customers flip them...easy solution. PNH who sold my GT3 to me at MSRP will get the first right of refusal to buy it back from me when it comes time to sell it, that's just the right thing to do in my mind.

I've told that to every local dealer I've talked to. Sell me the car at msrp and when I get bored in 6-12 months, I'll sell it back to you at msrp or slightly back of msrp and you can sell it for whatever you want. I think that's a win win, but I guess I'm wrong as no one has agreed...

So you're proposing a dealer sells to you at MSRP now, you drive it free for up to a year, and they buy it back to you from you at the same price you paid???
