Really???
I know this is a GT3 Forum but Road and Track has the 2017 GTS Cabriolet doing 0-60 times of 3.1 and the quarter mile at 11.4.
That is pretty darn quick for a convertible at that price range compared to competition. Must be one hell of a car to drive plus with back seats would be a great little weekend toy for the Family to tour around in

...which is another reason why staying NA will be tough. When your lower cars start out performing your marquee models, there's only one way to go.

Wait.. wasn't rob pulling mid 11's in the 1/4 mile @ high elevation with his .1 GT3?... Let me check his thread..
EDIT: Rob did low 12's (12.04s) @ elevation, so 11's should be easy at sea level... In his thread an rs pulled 11.3s.. I would assume the .2 GT3 will do similar if not faster times than the .1 RS.

Electric is super fast.

Turbo or electric assist for more torque. Larger displacement NA motors are on the way out, just a matter time. Emission regulations are dictating this.

Until a GTS (or Carrera, or Carrera S, or Turbo...) has the same front uprights, LC arms, shocks, springs, dampers and roll bars as a GT3 there is no comparison in my book. I don't care how fast it / they accelerate...

You can have instant throttle, NA sound, AND massive torque which never dies off until redline and hits high revs.. NA hybrid like 918. I simply can't fathom this not happening on the next GT3 with lighter battery technology which is already available. This will differentiate the GT3 from non-GT models, and restore the performance differential. it makes too much sense for it not to happen.

i dont give a fk about ring time or hp rating. i only care about the badge, which i delete.

The GT3/RS still reign over all lesser 991 Carrera variants for now. But as I posted on another thread, I expect the 992.1 GTS to have similar times to the 992.1 GT3, and by the second generation of the 992s, the GTS will likely be faster than the GT3, unless as Alex stated, Porsche decides to do a NA+electric GT3.
I remain convinced that the 992.1 GT3 will still only come with an NA engine. Porsche plans these things a couple years in advance and they couldn't figure out how to even make a 992.1 Carrera hybrid handle properly due to all the extra weight of the electric motors/batteries, so I really doubt that we'll see a hybrid 992.1 GT3.
The earliest we might see a hybrid GT3 would be with the 992.2 generation or the next all new generation after the 992s. Porsche won't want to rush making a hybrid GT3 until the tech/weight improve further, and people are still lining up for blocks around to buy the current NA 991.2 GT3/RS, that are supposedly so underpowered compared to their turbo competitors, so there is no economic pressure on Porsche to fast-track a hybrid GT3 while the current NA models are so overwhelming popular.
