Love the look of silver contrasted against the black bits on the configurator.

Anyone have a picture of an actual GT3 Touring in GT or rhodium silver?

I’ve been spending a lot of time in official 911 r thread. I figure they will all look similar enough. I was leaning black with chrome touring but having a lot of time reviewing the pics I may go get silver. Just can’t decide on satin platinum or standard color wheels.

Go with Silver rather than black. One less twin of mine. :-) I thought for a minute lava orange with silver wheels and trim would look good, but I can’t see anyone liking that spec.

I did the same thing..I really wanted lava orange but it’s too confusing of a color.

The choice of the brighter colours, Ive been thinking recently the touring with carmine, silver wheels and chrome would look great.

I agree. I think Carmine (which is much deeper than guards Red), Agate, and the Black metallic would look great with the silver trim. I went with non-metallic black. I think the lighter colors will look good too as the launch car in sapphire does, but they won’t make the chrome side window trim pop as much. I still wonder why night blue metallic is not available on a GT3 as that would really make the chrome pop.

I did the press car - SBM, satin wheels, PCCB, chrome trim.

Initially I had a 12/18 delivery, has been pushed back 30 days - 1/18.

Default there's Touring package.. and then there's the Touring.. HAHA

what a naming ****-up porsche made.

So the new Touring.. is just a badging exercise, just a 911 with fabric straps on the doors.

but the Touring package.. is actually the car people wanted the Touring to be... jesus, what a joke.

Alex. Is this real? Where are you getting your info?

EDIT- just saw this on jalopnik. I agree that this is stupid naming exercise.
No serious attempt at weight loss and very confusing after recent GT3T announcement.

Couldn’t agree more. A whopping 11 pounds lighter than a regular 911 Carrera on which it’s based! What’s that, 2 gallons on gas?!?!!

Also, incredibly confusing to drop a variant called the 911 Touring right as the 911 GT3 Touring (Package), which has a “GT3 Touring” badge on it, is hitting market too.

It’s 20kg not 11lbs. Rear seat delete, radio delete, sound deadening removal, lightweight glass.

It’s no more confusing than the Carrera S and Turbo S.
