Standard...wanted as bright as possible. My tts was JBM And didn't show the swirl marks as much...and I like the hint of silver metalflake but i totally see why one would opt for black. There is no bad choice on this car.

Don't forget to drive it when you get it... here is a quote from a period article on the 2.7 Carrera... Love the fact that ending up wrapped around a tree is part of the charm. Maybe AP builds in a bit of random ESP off time.. just to keep things interesting as we continue to strive for "driver engagement"
Porsche 911 Carrera RS has a reputation as a bit of a widow maker. The combination of a 2.7 liter flat six rear-mounted engine, a five-speed manual gearbox, rear-wheel-drive, and no electronic aids whatsoever gives the car a tricky handling that requires special skills to keep in check. But that ever-present danger of spinning and ending up wrapped around a tree is part of the car’s charm.

I love the chrome look and that is what I am going for.
I can't tell in the configurator which package makes the rims more chrome like. I need them to match as much as possible the window trim and chrome exhaust.

I was able to change to Touring with Sept 22 lock date without issue. I initially was going to go with the chrome trim, but went with the black finish with chalk paint, black wheels, red stitching and gauges. I really liked the chrome (with satin wheels) but think it would look good only on a darker color and I wasn't really in love with any of the colors that I thought worked. I'd really wanted a PTS car (I'm going to trade back my Irish Green PTS targa - which I love), but . . . the configurator had other ideas.
12/22 delivery (or earlier).

I just posted this on another thread, but wanted to make sure all see it:
This link to Porsche's Newsroom clearly states: "With the exception of the rear, the body of the GT3 remains unchanged in the variant with Touring Package."
https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/prod...ler-14133.html
It also states: "The powertrain and chassis are identical on all 911 GT3 vehicles with manual transmission, including the variant with Touring Package."
