A little sad when there's a reason to be happy to see that message on the dash.

If you can't rev to 8,250+ without going back into limp mode I believe you've hit the >$70+K lotto!
This is an F-Series motor correct (2015 build)?

Thanks! We’ll see what Porsche says. But I am cautiously optimistic.

I shipped the car to Northern California to enjoy the car this summer at sea level. The car woke right up. Probably did 6-7 spirited drives. Car was a blast. If this was the end of this F motor damn did it give me a lot of good times.

My 2015 F motor just went in to Porsche for service today. 32k miles. Threw about 3 or 4 of the same codes over the past few weeks, including cylinder misfire. I'm with you. "Cautiously optimistic". Dealer says these cars throw these errors due to a quick snapshot based on oil, fuel, timing etc when pushed and then correct themselves. Mine has been idling and driving like crap since it started, so I'm not sure if I believe them. We will see.

Thankfully, the car is CPO'd until July 24 and covered under the 10 year until Nov 24. I'm trying to drive it as much as possible and just enjoy it.

I call BS on this. Hopefully, you're on the path to a new motor too.

1k miles on my new G6, happy so far.

@johnsopa Agreed. If it was running smoothly and without any of the sluggish behavior, rough idling etc, I might consider this valid. But, the behavior seems to be non-corrective. Unfortunately, if the dealer goes in thinking "these cars throw errors and its normal", I doubt anyone is thinking motor replacement. My guess is they will reset, drive it around the block nicely and give it back "all good". We will see....

Rough idle is a sure giveaway. Keep pushing.

I was able to rev to 9k a few times today. No limp mode triggered.
