Default GT2 RS Radio/Nav delete (0€ Option :) )

Sittn here playing with the configurator on a rainy sunday afternoon. thinking how it would (if it could) look like...

Colors, wheels, WP, easy stuff
but than comes the question which - i - really don´t know. as useless as the Radio/Nav would be in this car. Missing bluetooth yeah... that could be a pain somehow/somewhen doing the alps, track travel, etc... somewhen maybe you want to sell it again...

Is somebody here going the Radio/Nav delete on there valid GT2 RS order? In EU its listed in the configurator as 0€ option

Unfortunatly in US it´s not in the configurator - i guess based on back up camera law ? or just via CXX possible?

there can´t be any better place for a Wurstbrötchen/Sandwich:

It's not possible to delete PCM on EU config, but also to have a back up camera.
Camera = PCM; they have to go together.

So, I'm guessing US always has to have PCM as legally required camera can't be separated out.

Good news is since the shelf is available world wide we can get it and replace the radio. Sure coding will be required.

Cameras are handy sure, but really not necessary in these small cars. Love it in the cayenne tho... and wife still manages to back into **** with one on her car. And sensors... UGH

Still don't know why Porsche won't run the backup camera through the LCD screen on the dash for US cars. That way you could still do radio delete. Like the rolllbar, it's another case of US buyers getting hosed when easy solutions are available.

This screen is maybe too small to comply with your regulations.

And more certainly, it would cost too much to do this for a very limited number of sales.

could be 928cs. but the idea from Nizer was good!

hopefully we will not see with the 992 not the same dash as the Audi TT, R8 has now...
basically a cool idea - but on a 911 have to be a "analog" rev-counter.

At this point, I have multiple configurations ;-).
Not sure yet what the final one will be!

Wow!! I can totally figure out this '90's nav system on both 2016 Porsches.
I got a 2017 loaner with Appl crap and could barely get the car home..
