Yup finally delivered, long wait. Many pics to come soon!
Also, do you know where I can find paint mixture codes for PTS colors? My dealer isn't providing me with the valid RAL codes for my Y97 and I'm looking to get a model 1:8 replication

LOL! Sometimes I have to track you guys down. Thanks for checking in. I would think you should be able to get the formulation of your color from Glasurit- they have a classic color search on the web and I found slate grey here:
if you go through Eduardo's PTS Reference thread I believe there are several references to how you can uncover your paint formulation as well. Worst case, I would contact Porsche directly.
Same deal here, I can match the willhoit sample I have, order the glasurit 5712 356 color, or try to match what’s on the car, but there has to be an actual code for PTS colors in waterborne glasurit. Anyone have a contact at a Porsche authorized body shop or BASF in Germany?
I'm currently waiting on a reply from my Porsche dealership. If they are able to provide me with the actual mixture code for my Y97 I'll go on to ask for any other colors.
Glasurit only recognizes the 615 Slate grey formula. I received the code "L998" from both my Porsche Dealership and the Porsche Body Shop. The body shop told me that this is the "body color code". Did some research and L998 just means "Paint to Sample"
Anyone know if there is a color code sticker anywhere on the car? Other than the one attached..Y97 doesn't really help
^ Good plan. My race car is painted with BMW fire Orange an individual color. It was a b*&ch to get the color code from BMW, we finally got it from an authorized body shop.
Christmas comes early! Wasn't supposed to be here for 6 weeks. At Oakville Porsche this morning picking up the Cayenne and this had just come off the truck!

Congrats! May get some slow drives in before real winter hits.
Finding pics of Y97 was very difficult as the color was only confirmed on one other car on rennlist (Boxter Spyder) months after my spec order locked in. The general preference of Slate Grey is the Steve McQueen 615, with little acknowledgment of the existence of Y97. Thankfully it turned out to be so much more than what I was expecting.
The car is insane and to top things off the Slate grey Y97, being a 1 of a kind paint choice, makes it so much more special.
Quoting, KarimRS, a fellow Rennlist member on this thread. "With no BS, this color is something else, you never feel you have enough of the color. You don't just see the shade of grey and feel you've had enough. It's hard to understand."
Pics are edited to represent the Slate Grey Y97 as close as possible to the real thing. The color varies greatly under different conditions of light, from being strikingly grey to grey with a tint of blue/purple.
