That's what you get when you choose daffodil metallic with unicorn pink pepita.

Mine has been September from the start and hasn't moved ... but I fear that's because they haven't even gotten to it yet, and when they do I'll be lucky to get it by 2020.

Can you lose allocation by asking for PTS at the very end of production? Say Nov/Dec delivery?

That's scary.

No, I almost lost PTS!
I could have saved the car (allocation) but said I would forfeit my colour and CXX choices. To me, after all the hoops I’ve jumped thru, to loose PTS would have lead me to surrender the spot (vain? Maybe)

^. This make me fear asking my SA about my current status. Recently, I learned my June delivery slipped to August. I’m German (in case you thought my name was “Turbo” ), so I can tell you Porsche isn’t playing any favorites here!

Wow, I feel very fortunate that my PTS car arrived a week early...it never changed build/completion dates.

Default PTS Pushed Out 2-Months for CXX

Soulsea, In early February my order was at V215 with late April planned production. I requested custom tailoring on my 18-way seats (full leather centers in place of Alcantara) as well as full leather cover for center storage compartment. I was assured that PTS was not at risk by Atlanta PEC team but dates were not certain. Changes were accepted but production date pushed out to mid June with August delivery.

My dealer since told me I was lucky - his other GT3 PTS orders, without changes, have pushed out significantly later and in one recent case a long term PTS order was cancelled by PAG. Don’t know it’s V-status.

Knowing what I do now regarding PTS being in a state of flux and delivery uncertainty I would have not risked these changes.

Montoya, on the next update please push my date from April to June.

Thank you that's very helpful.

Basically your production date got pushed by two months by making the changes.

My sense is that that's the best one could hope for and the downside is that if I do this it could push me back a lot longer than that.

I think I'm going to follow everyone's advice and just leave well enough alone.

Thanks everyone for your input.

Another option (if the change is minor) is to have your dealer manager reach out to PCNA to have PAG make the changes to the build directly. Then there is no status change. I did this for a deviated stitching change after by build was V215.

Otherwise the normal flow is PAG changes build to editable, then you make changes, PAG re-locks and potentially reschedules.

^ no, my changes from last year was done by germany not my dealer. still had schedule impact
my 991.1RS, all the changes were made by germany not by dealer, and that car, each change caused a predictable 2 week push back.
the 991.2RS delays are much more perplexing.
i dont mind the delay but would like to learn of the reason, so next time "we" can some "some vague" understanding of the "system"
this is very soup ****... maybe PAG loves that, that's why soup **** seinfeld gets good cars?

Wacky. Well, maybe at a minimum PAG making changes directly may minimize chances of losing PTS slot. Though supposedly as long as paint is ordered, you won’t lose it.
