Default How does allocation process work?

Quick question to experienced guys.

How does allocation work?

Say that there is a wait list of 20.

Does dealer get 1 allocation after another?

Or more of a batch of 3-4 allocations at once?

If latter, how long is the term b/t each batches?

Thank you in advance.

Simple question about allocation met with this much sarcasm.

Is gt3 ownership related to mental retardation?

Learned nothing from all your other threads and talking to all these dealers?

As an FYI, 20 on a list you're SOL.

Given the unending confusion over headlight options, one might think so.

I'll bite. My understanding is GT3 allocations are generally proportional based on how many 911s the dealership sells in general.

Allocations are given in groups at every month or two (at least from what I've seen talking to dealers). Depending on dealership size, some dealers might get one at a time. Others may get a group of a few.

How they handle distributing these is up to the dealership...

Ignore all the sarcasm and noise... Find a dealer that sells MSRP. There are only a few out there. Put a deposit for a car 2-5 years out. You will get a car; patience is virtue.
