As a dealer we get allocations for all cars with freeze points about 90 days at a time 5-7 months in advance. But the sooner to freeze cars are closest to the production window.

Typically a slot freezes 30-45 days before production

So, my "August" allocation was specced in April/May

It looks like this

August
Cayenne SE Hybrid 1
cayenne Turbo 1
Macan 2
Macan S 1
C2 cab 1
C4S Coupe 1
Panamera 1
Panamera 4S 2

Etc

GT3 allocations were distributed a few months ago for the first batch and last month as December builds for second batch.

GT3 allocations are distributed based on total % of national sales of 911.

THANK YOU!!

So it seems the second batch went out last month. Have not heard from my dealer, so its seems I'm SOL for a winter delivery. Hoping for spring 2018!!

See, it's all relative. Now go develop a relationship with your dealer, grab your ankles and lift your skirt to receive your $30k ADM because in comparison to "insert any conspicuous consumption item here" you're getting a great deal!

I put a deposit on the new 960 supercar three years ago when news was it was coming in 2018. Its pushed back to 2019 or 2020 now but the cool thing is I'm the first one on the list at msrp. Now I have purchased 2 new Macan Turbos and a used 2014 Turbo S cab from this dealer but there was never a mention of that being helpful to get up the ladder on any list.
The dealer just took a order from their one 918 purchaser that they had for the first GT2RS that will come to the dealer allocation. I'm 2nd on that list. Again all at MSRP. Hope I get one...
