The 992 I just unloaded was Chalk. Does that count?

IMO they all work
Great line-ups and for sure great driving experiences.
Pic of 992 looks great starting to "grow" on me

GT350 Owners; do you guys worry about the horrid reliability, oil consumption, catastrophic engine failures, etc? I know because we are in the car scene things an seem like a bigger deal than they are (991.1 engine issues, as an example). But, the 5.2 Voodoo seems to have some very serious reliability problems. It has always seemed like such a fun daily or toy car if you go in expecting bang-for-the-buck and simple/cheap interiors.
I'm not worried about it and plan on keeping the car longterm. It's the car I've owned longest among the cars currently in the garage. It's under warranty right now, but I plan to own outside the warranty. I understand there have been some issues that will keep some away, but i smile every time I drive it. If I have an issue, I'll deal with it when it happens. Better to love and have lost than to have never loved.
2020 and 2019 don’t have oil consumption Issues. So far the reliability of the new modified motor is not clear, but looking good for the longer term. Short term there have been issues. My motor had a bad valve out of the box and required a new motor. Apparently a small number of these 2019/2020 motors have had this early valve failure and there seemed to be related to a supplier issue. Ford has been fair in dealing with this as they have with everyone. I received an 8 year 125K bumper to bumper warranty, plus a 5 year warranty contract for my troubles. It’s a fun daily driver and pairs with the GT3 nicely in driving experience. (I have a bright color problem, LOL)

That's a little more reassuring to hear. But, what I'm concerned about hoping in to go to a meeting and having the engine fail on the way. And sometimes, its a drive from Houston to Dallas, or Austin, or elsewhere and that is scary. Getting it fixed and having a free extended warranty is nice, but not if it means I'm stranded for hours and I miss a 6 figure deal.

My daily driver got unfortunately shattered by the Beirut explosion.. the Buiding facade fell on it and totalled it. I thank God i was only 200m away, slightly wounded but alive and kicking..
The sun will rise and we will try again..

Cars are replaceable. People are not. We are glad you are still around. That was heart stopping to watch on video. I can't imagine being anywhere near it.

I am in this camp - not going with the "early rush", as I don't like either of the 4 pre-selected 'bundles', nor any of the exterior colors float my boat. Been waiting this long, might as well wait till May when ARP (Audi Reservation Platform) opens up. This was all pre-covid, timelines are likely negatively affected.
As far as pricing, I had 3 dealers call me with an available allocation (had relationship with them, i.e. not out of the blue), not one dared ask for over MSRP.
Not allowed to say more, but patience will be a virtue for a select few... Watch this space
