Hi All,

Quick update! I received tons of messages for the allocation. My friend is letting me know by tomorrow if he is letting the allocation go. I have 5 people that have agreed to my $1,000 finder fee if he bails. I am charging a $1,000 to help cover the mark up on my car but I didn't want to be greedy like the dealers. I just wanted to keep everyone in the loop because all 5 people are very serious about it. Thanks all.

I was lucky, i moved to Charlotte market 5 years ago, wanted a manual, put a 1k deposit on the hopes the rumors were going to come true in the winter of 2015. finalized my manual on saturaday only because my allocation was for april, but the VIP in front of me changed to a touring. Long and short, its simple, go put a deposit and wait 2 years. There are people waiting on GT2RS for 7 years at my dealer and they will get one because they put money where their mouth is

I hear you. When I put my deposit for the .2 GT3 I was skeptical, but have been pleasantly surprised. The dealer I dealt with was one of "good guys." But more importantly, I think face to face interaction and rapport matters. Can't do that with phone calls.

i ended up with GR, was struggling on seating and color. I went to the dealer, made a friendship with the SA, and asked how I could potentially have an opportunity to order a car of choice and get a manual. They were very straight, explained the VIP option first, then said they would do everything they could to keep me in the loop and get me a car. If the new gt3 was not a manual option, I would not have bought the car. I really wanted a manual. So, I think my SA was aware that i really had my mind on getting the car for me and not to flip. Anyways, I am excited and ready to hit the mountains in the spring

I ended up finding 3 dealerships with them. With with a 15k markup(I'm taking), one with a 30k markup(my brother is on the fence of taking it or just getting a .1) and a 50k markup(throw this dealer in the trash though, they're horrible). Message me if you're interested if my brother doesn't take it then it's all yours. I called over 100 dealers until I found these

15k premium is not bad at all. Your brother should try to work the 30k premium down 5-10k before just taking it. The 50k premium car better be a PTS slot and changeable.
