It's all I've got until cleared by the doc. Have to admit, as good as it is, still boring. Needs a 4 axis gimble and VR goggles.

I was foolish enough to think this thread was about "the value of Porsches"..
Since it is a biking thread - more or less- I would ask if anyone is interested doing an Everesting on Pikes Peak in mid July. 4.3 times you need to ride it. Hotel in Cascade, CO at the base of the climb. The plan is to have 30 min rest in the hotel between each climb. Climb would be about 2.5h with two 5-10 min rest. Then descend about 30 min. Altogether about 16hs 170miles. ( I have the exact calculations if anyone interested). We have a car with us fully packed etc. So far 2 riders (myself included) and 2 maybe. None of us are pros. I do Sufferfest - (nighted)- and ride about 5h a week indoor now. Plus CrossFit and runnning.
Will do two more or less organized prelude - March climbing the Mauna Kea x2 in Kona (just up to the paved section) than late May Colorado tour. If anyone interested I am more than happy to provide detailed info on any of these trips.

Oh, common guys!! I know it is somewhat crazy, but honestly this everesting at Pikes Peak maybe the easiest everesting within the continental USA. It is the shortest distance, you can have about 30 min rest in your hotel room!! between each climb, with shower, real food etc. plus on each climb you would have two 5-10 min brake. With cold drinks readily available and help any time. You can make your bike as light as possible by not carrying even a second bottle.
I am trying to sell the whole thing to my triathlete friends but very few takers. Would be super awesome if someone from a Porsche forum would jump in!
Ok I will bring the my 991.2 GT3 and you can drive it on Pikes Peak if you come for the ride!!

By the way, if someone is interested and would fly to Colorado and don't want to carry the big bike case, I have a few relatively decent bikes in size 54!!
Any takers??
My wife is a great chef and we will have amazing food for the Everesting!! (vegan)
