GT3 Dealer Allocation Thread
#1546
No concrete numbers yet, but from talking around, we believe 300 some total allocations between dealer pool allocation, 918 VIP allocation, and VVIP allocations from July to December 2017 production dates.

GM of a good guy So Cal dealer told me he was disappointed to only get a few. He's hoping to get more the next round of allocations.

Whoever PCNA deems them to be literally. Usually people that Porsche can call them by their name.
Owners of business partners (for example if you're CEO of Michelin, Brembo, ZF), race car drivers (if you race for Porsche GT3 R), if you're high profile celeb that is related to motorsports, etc and more.

Even smaller dealers in the Midwest have gotten one or two. I think this one may be pulling your leg.
Easiest thing to tell guys not to **** them off is tell them they didn't get any.

Allocations are given out based on how many each dealer has earned. Of course California and Florida get the most as those are the two biggest markets.

Guys, let's take a breathe and relax...I bet 918 owners, VIPs, and VVIPs probably sucked up 50%+ of this round's allocations (probably why my top 5 stealers got so many allocations) so I wouldn't worry about your local dealer/s not getting many allocations. In the meanwhile, let's hit the track or the canyons.

Haha actually surprisingly much less 918 VIP program owners asked for the GT3 this time, from the ones I know of, around 40%. I guess these owners just picked up the R, and RS recently and have more to come like the GT2RS and Speedster. Plus Porsche started coming down on the hammer a lot more strick recently about keeping the car and not flipping.
VVIPs you can always just treat it as noise. Its going to be less than 10 people.

Allocation received in Australia, Sydney dealer. Can't build now but will open for me in June. 2018 delivery. No 2017 delivery for me, I think Australia will get less than 10 or 15 GT3 delivered before end this year(for their VVIP) .

From what I hear, many are taking the allocations, but flipping and passing them to dealers for $$.
