Pretty disheartened by how hard it is get Porsche GT cars...got a cancelled GT3 PTS, but missed on GT3 RS, and can't get a 991.2 allocation. Drove the 570S, 488 GTB, and GT3RS at Exotic Racing in Vegas. 488 = $300K / GT3RS = $240K / 570S = $200K. I am happy with the Mac...
I saw this one a couple days ago. Having seen many in pics, I was really struck by how exotic it looked in person. Also, there were many interesting details in both the exterior and interior styling that just seemed to make the car feel special.

I've read your posts and found them to be very "down to earth". So I have a question; I'm in NJ. Is there a "local" Mac dealer you could recommend for a guy who has always been into Porsche and has no ties with any Mac dealership?
In other words just to go look at the car for the first time and give us the straight dope. Of course I love the 570GT but the 720S is my main interest. Still,, I imagine I'd be at the back of the line which is ok since I'll be at NYC show in April with Porsche VIP status for the .2GT3 so I'll have some time.
The SA would have to be a "slow" patient talker and let the car speak for itself. If you know what I mean.
This leads to my next question....Is it possible to put down a deposit after the 720S is officially announced but not take delivery for a year? I'd be keeping the .2GT3. To me, having both would be the best of both worlds. Hope this isn't confusing. Thanks very much.

C.J. : what are some other up and coming models you're anticipating from the sport series line? Will McLaren produce a LT-like model from the 570? Many thanks for any rumor you're willing or able to share!

570Spider will be presented in Goodwood 2017.
570LT would be also interesting for me! already thinking about 570GT4 or 570Sprint + motorsport "street-registration"
after my trip this weekend to Barcelona i have to admit that those McLarens and the guys which are behind the brand are serious. but super fun!
570GT would not be mine - even for this supposed purpose i would choose the 570s. Didn´t liked the rear suspension of the 570GT when dropping with 250kp/h from the banked turn into the straight again
720s we saw. but covered... still some interesting discussions with the technicians. but unfortunately no facts to share.
most interesting for me are the Spider versions - should have the same rigidity (monocoque) and just 40kg more (at the 675LT for example). In my opinion you can´t buy a better high performance cabrio package. On top if i would have to drive with windows open as a general rule on US tracks? - i do not see any real reason in buying a coupe...
