Use to go to the Detroit auto show all the time. It was a 4hr drive one way and the winter weather could definitely throw a curve in your drive. I noticed the same, with many of the companies had scaled back their displays. Certainly will not be going this year either.

just hoping to bring the conversation back to a thread without a misleading title and intent.. this is why eventually everything will be turbo.
but, not just yet.

You all can keep poking fun at the Midwest if you want, just remember GT cars are sold at MSRP, allocation lists are short if at all, 5,000 square foot homes on 5 acres are 300K and the roads are smooth and empty. Oh, I'll put Minneapolis gals up against SF anyday.

All the other stuff you said is very true. However, I'd rather pay 2-3x as much for a house, but never worry about snow or need winter tires, track all year round, do other sports year round, have truly sunny days 6 days out of 7 year round, and as the beach season is 9 months out of the year, women in SoCal have to keep themselves swimsuit ready all year long!

Although to be fair, my GT3 barely fits in my garage in Chicago.
