I hope it's not the bearings. Heat shield is feasible. Also noticed whilst having the front tyres swapped that the brake duct on the left front has been spliced open and had to have that nailed together. So seems there is a lot happening with all the plastics around the wheels, which causes no further issues. The car had a thorough visual inspection in the garage so it appears all is ok.

I'm going to inspect my car the next weekend I think. I'll report back if I see something.

Hasn't been a problem.
I also have a "clicking" noise in corners with my GT3. Check this video (or any others recent in my youtube channel..) and tell if it's the same for you :

In my case it's seems to be the RWS system, that should be replaced under warranty in the next few weeks.

I'm a bit irritated about the 4X4 stance of the RS so I can not help complaining:

This is how my car looks in 991 GT3 RS Catalogue and this how I want it to look (Not that I look som much on it from the outside but still.):

It is difficult to hear properly: I think that your sounds different then mine but that can be the recording.

You can hear it here: I think I have it mostly in right hand corners:

The noise I was referring to is that in Kobalt's video, but like a clock ticking very fast. Think I have only had it in right hand corners.

Corner balancing.

My car was a late April build and I believe had the updated track specs done at the factory. My stance looks to be in between your two photos.

My car sits superhigh, F1 like but I remember seeing that at some of the intro video's a year ago at Bilsterberg. I'll take a few photo's soon.

I don't car as long as it drives right.
We have now completed the whole 15 page retrofit deal, excluding rolling fenders and paint!

To be continued...

I care. Dislike excessive wheel/fender gap. Also think adjustable suspension should be able to function throughout it's full range of travel and reasonable range of adjustment without damaging parts.

Definitely to be continued....

Ok, I care a little but if it works great then it's only a matter of asking Porsche to compensate me for it. After all I thought I bought a car that was track ready..

I was looking through a reference cited in the infamous "wheel clearance for race track use" track setup procedures again recently. Didn't see the stock alignment settings posted elsewhere so thought I would add to this thread as a reference. These are the current stock values for the 991 RS, will be comparing to my car's factory settings in a few weeks then adjusting from there.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

The following values relate to the empty weight, i.e. full fuel tank / fluid reservoirs, vehicle with tools, but without driver or additional weights

Vehicle Height
Make sure that the height is never less than the required vehicle
height at front and rear axle as specified below.
Note that the correct measurement points diagrams are shown in the PDFs posted earlier in this thread.

Front: 115mm +/- 2mm (20" wheels)
Measured: From road contact surface to measuring point on cross member / bulkhead

Rear: 275mm +/- 2mm (21" wheels)
Measured: From road contact surface to locating hole in rear-axle side section

Permitted transverse inclination of the vehicle: Max. difference in height, left to right = 2 mm
Max. wheel-load difference, right to left, on front axle 10 kg and on rear axle 15 kg.
Try for max. 5 kg on the front axle and max. 10 kg on the rear axle.

Wheel alignment values worldwide
Front:

Toe unpressed (total): +2' +/- 2'
Max. difference, left to right: 2'

Camber (with wheels in straight-ahead position): 1°30' +/- 3'
Max. difference, left to right: 3'

Caster: -
Max. difference, left to right: 15'

Rear:
Toe per wheel: +10' +/- 2'
Max. difference, left to right: 2'

Camber: 1°30' +/- 5'
Max. difference, left to right: 5'

Anti-roll bar adjustment
Standard setting 911 GT3 RS (991) = centre position (on front and rear axle)

How do the above toe values translate to mm?
