No confirmation on the 2RS, but they did take a deposit from me, we’ll see how it turns out. Worse comes to worse - I still have my 3RS and enjoy it a lot
I had a fun year doing the RCN series at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, got a lot of experience, and decided to do the RCN series 2018 too.
2017 I shared cars with two different co-drivers and drove three different cars. Mixed results from not even finishing the warm up lap (I'm not sure if it is called DNS "did not start") to class and group win.
2018 I will drive a BMW M3 E46 together with a good friend.
Now I have the license to let me drive VLN and if a cheap seat turns up I might give it a try.

Just this moment we have received fixed dates for our 2018 courses as follows:.
May 1 – 4, 2018 Tuesday - Friday
September 23 – 26, 2018Sunday - Wednesday
We think that these are suitable dates indeed and that therefore these dates are good news for the Scuderia Hanseat family.
The other good news is that we will be able to drive continuously from 08:00 am to 7:30 pm in 2018, without restricted driving over lunch time.
60 Years of Scuderia Hanseat
In May 1958, the “International Sports Drivers’ Course Nürburgring” was performed by the Scuderia Hanseat for the first time. We look forward to duly celebrating this 60th anniversary in the coming year. And we would be delighted if we could celebrate this anniversary with fully booked courses and are therefore hoping for numerous registrations.
Unfortunately, modern weather apps can result in numerous, very short-term cancellations and re-bookings due to bad weather forecasts. This forces us also to adjust the cancellation conditions for 2018.
At the same time, we would like to point out that a cancellation insurance can be taken out for our course fee. These kind of insurances are offered by the same classical institutions who offer travel cancellation insurances. We have checked this with the following two providers:
